My first antique purchase was from a neighborhood sale. I was eight years old. It was a two-sided carrom board. Carrom is a game played on a special board with four pockets. Fingers or cue sticks are used to shoot small rings into a pocket, collecting points via the two sided game board. A checked top is featured on other side.

Antique and vintage game boards can be displayed on a wall in a rec room, boy’s room or a home office. The geometrical designs and warm colors make the board a piece of artwork. We have a vintage board at the store.

What was your favorite game? Has it stood the test of time?
