We are excited to tell our readers of two upcoming antique shows this fall in Springfield. We will not be exhibiting in either show this fall, but highly recommend that our customers consider visiting them. In the past, we have exhibited at both the Antique Festival of the Ozarks and the Springfield Symphony Guild Antique Show and Sale. Both are professionally run and pull exhibitors from around the Midwest.
In the plethora of flea markets and junking opportunities in town, the Ozark’s antique collectors have limited choices. These two shows will be bringing in professional collector/dealers who will feature the best examples that come into the marketplace. It will be a chance to talk with experts and compare what you collect with the items they have available. Expect to find a lot of glassware, jewelry, dinnerware, figurines, advertising, etc. Don’t expect a lot of furniture or English antiques; for that, you should stop by and see us!

Trying to find that special antique or collectible? On Friday, November 4, and Saturday, November 5, the Springfield Symphony Guild will be holding their semi-annual Antique Show and Sale at Remington’s, located at 1655 West Republic Road. Many well known antique dealers from the surrounding area will be exhibiting a wide variety of fine-quality antiques and collectibles.
Antique appraisals will be available on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at a cost of $5 per item with show admission. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. For more information call the Springfield Symphony office at 417-864-6683.
