Springfield Symphony Guild’s Fall Antique Show

This past weekend, we participated in the Springfield Symphony’s Fall Auction Show and Sale at Remington’s. There were 32 dealers, mostly from Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and a few other states. We felt that by participating in a show in our hometown, we could reach our target audience and let shoppers know about the gallery’s expansion. We had an overwhelming positive reaction to our booth and English antiques. Our business cards were gone by the end of day one! Luckily we could run over to the shop and pick up more for the second day.

Since this was only our second show, we weren’t sure want to expect. On Thursday, Theresa and her mom set up the booth, while I wandered around talking to the other dealers. Friday morning rolled around and we had a blast. Lots of friends and customers came by to say hi and check out the merchandise.

Everyone wants to know when the remodel project will be completed, so stay tuned. This is our busiest time of year and we’ll be trying to fit in the upgrades between customer orders. Thanks again for your continued interest.
