Unique Anglo-Indian Torchere

This item was purchased at the Newark Antique Fair in Lincolnshire England in February 2010. It is an outstanding example of a carved Anglo-Indian antique torchere. Items, such as this, were given to retiring English officers upon the completion of their tour of duty in India. This could be used for a wonderfully interesting plant stand, or a place to put your business cards. It’s definitely a conversation starter. It’s 35″ tall and a deep brown red color.
